Some houses have better reputations than others. I will say that I am happy with the house I chose, reviews dealing centers on the residents.
Some can be a problem at times, but for the most part, they are agreeable and well-behaved.
Based on the interactions that I have had with Latham workers in different departments of the company though? Eh, some left me feeling as if they do not genuinely care about the well-being of their direct care staff.
At the end of the day, it's about money and upholding their reputation.
They all seem as if they have sticks in their "you-know-where's," also quite dramatic. And oh yeah, they expect you to dedicate your life to them for two weeks during training.
Sorry, but my world does not revolve around Latham Centers. They are probably my favorite thing about the company. It can be dirty work at times, but I really do feel fulfilled.
That's what I really try to focus on, not all the times that I have been tempted to "keep it real" with management. Definitely good pay for human services.
